Applying for your test
How and when can I apply for my test?
Your tutor will advise you when to apply for your test. Usually once a pre-test run with a different tutor has been carried out, to verify their opinion.
Test fees are not included in our local group’s associate training costs. They are payable directly to RoSPA HQ:
The cost is £77 (Inc VAT) for a Car test and £85 (Inc VAT) for a Motorcycle test.
Once you are ready to take your test you can apply online
Your Application will be entered onto their system and sent through to a Regional Senior Examiner who will then allocate your test to an Examiner most local to you.
The Examiner will contact you directly (usually within two weeks) to make arrangements for a time, date and place for your test.
You will be required to show a valid an up to date photocard or paper driving licence on the day of the test.
Booking your 3 yearly test
If you have already passed your test with us and are due to re-qualify after 3 years, you can do so below.
(This will open a form direct from the ROADAR website). Fill in and submit and someone will get back to you with a date.
